Great for learning the basics

It is easy and fast on how to talk like a true German

It was working be for I updated it now it crashes!

Im traveling in Germany and after updating this just stopped working. It wont even start :(

Little to no attention to the gender of nouns.

It sounds like they recorded in the bathroom. You cant even make out the sounds they are saying. Its not even my headphones either cuz these are slamming. I deleted as soon I submitted this review.

This is so helpful!!! I am going to take German next year, and this is a jump start. Also, dont use headphones, I see them tending to glitch it out.

I agree with poopy.I dont get it. I have had this thing for several days and barely know a sentence of German! What do I do should I wait and be patient. Because at my new school we have to know German and I dont speak it.

Such a great app! Definitely helps to have even a tiny bit of prior knowledge about German.

Is a good simple app,but there are MANY errors, the creator of this app obviously is was not raised with Deutsche (German) and probably learned it in school.Things phrased incorrectly,spelled incorrectly,and conjugated incorrectly.not enough to put words together,must know sentence structure. Such as, "I am (30) years old" while the app uses all the correct words, "Ich bin (dreizig) jahre alt" , a fluent speaker would instead use, "Ich bin Dreizig" Germans are all about using as few words as possible! Also, there is a word for "Name" its "HeiBe" or "Heisse"

The layout is clean and user friendly; its easy to figure out how the app works. Theres a tortoise icon by each word or phrase. You can tap it to hear the word spoken slowly. Each word is said twice--a nice touch. Uncomplicated and well suited to brief use when theres a few minutes to spare.
